A La Vieille Russie à Paris : Fabergé et la Russie Impériale
Description : A La Vieille Russie, the famous New York dealer in antique jewellery and art, was founded in Kiev in 1851 and moved to Paris in the 1920s. It now returns to Paris for an exhibition at the Didier Aaron gallery on rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré , with whom it has had a longstanding relationship.
The exhibition features major works by Fabergé including some recent acquisitions and works of art from the period of the Tsars. For three weeks, from 15 September to 8 October 2010, A La Vieille Russie shows 100 works of art from the famous studio of Peter Carl Fabergé, jeweller to the Imperial Russian Court from 1890 to the Revolution.

MASTER DRAWINGS LONDON : François-Joseph Bélanger
Description : The Didier Aaron gallery in London will exhibit around twenty watercolour designs for wall and ceiling decorations by François-Joseph Bélanger (1744-1818), one of the most influential and innovative exponents of neoclassical interiors at the end of eighteenth century in France. The designs date from circa 1788 and their well-preserved colours initially surprise one with their boldness and strong contrasts.

AVATARS : The 18th century as roots of design
Description : With some fifteen seminal pieces, the Didier Aaron gallery is showing the Basel Design Fair that the French and European 18th century profoundly influenced furniture design at the end of the 19th century and the design of the 20th and 21st centuries.
At a time when the lines between art, architecture, and design are being blurred, the Didier Aaron gallery, through its presence in Basel, is thus reasserting its will to decompartmentalize traditions, and its determination to fully incorporate the 18th century into the world of contemporary art and design collectors.

PAINTINGS OF THE 17th CENTURY
Description : A Seventeenth-Century Sampler' will open May 4th at Didier Aaron Inc. in New York and continue until June 11th. The 25 French paintings in the exhibition will include published works by famous artists as well as new oustanding discoveries, sometimes by less well-known painters.

Architectures & Ornements
Description : Didier Aaron & Cie will have an exhibition of drawings for architecture and
ornament at their gallery in Paris.
The exhibition will include works from the gallery's own collection, as well as from ten other Parisian collections.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover drawings that have not been seen in public for many years.
